And while this is indeed discussed in this book, there is so much more. While ostensibly a book on teaching techniques for better improv theater the reasoning and discussion on *why* this or that technique works is amazing.
The part on mask theatre, which I'd anticipated to be the least interesting (I've never done it), proved the most fascinating. If you're involved with theatre and need a jump start, this book ought do it for you. I believe 'Impro' can provide vitamins for anyone, however, not just performers and theatre people.

Being new to improvisation and not being able to start improv lessons this season, this book is a great way to know a lot more about improv.
